So here's the thing. The actors were great. They tried really hard, they were super dedicated, and you could tell they were really focused and into it. HOWEVER, they were all cast in the wrong roles and given awful direction. It's not like they all sucked. Dev Patel is amazing! And say what you want, there were moments of Jackson Rathbone's performance when Sokka shone through and I was like DO THAT MORE OFTEN! But they were just given really really bad direction. Like... ugh. I'm so frustrated. The fight scenes were really cool but they put so much effort into the fighting and so little effort into character development and a legitimate plot
